Food Project Management for Brands and Private Labels
Do you want to launch a food product or food supplement under your own brand? I provide project management for manufacturer brands, own brands and private labels – from product planning and coordination with manufacturers and specialist partners through to market launch.
Whether developing a new product, coordinating contract manufacturing or positioning a product in grocery retail and wholesale, I connect product development, manufacturing, packaging and regulatory requirements with your commercial objectives. This draws on my experience of processes, technologies and equipment.
You receive a clear project structure with tasks, responsibilities, timelines and a budget framework. I coordinate your team and external partners, track outstanding decisions and support delivery through to the agreed handover to manufacturing and sales.

Project Planning & Responsibilities
The product objective becomes a work plan with tasks, responsibilities, milestones and a budget framework. Technical, regulatory and commercial requirements are planned together. Dependencies and required decisions are identified early, so that everyone involved understands their role.
Manufacturers & Specialist Partners
Identify development, ingredient and manufacturing partners, and assess proposals on their technical merits
Coordinate development, procurement, quality management, regulatory affairs and sales with external participants
Coordinate sampling, testing, packaging alignment and production trials
Schedule and track expert reports, dossier contributions and required notifications within the project

Delivery through to Handover
Throughout the project, timelines, costs, changes and outstanding tasks are tracked. Where deviations arise, I prepare specific options to support decisions and agree the next steps with you.
Delivery includes supporting the first production run, compiling the product documentation and handing over to manufacturing and sales. The formulation, packaging, review status and agreed approvals must all refer to the same product version.
Interim Management & New Business Areas
I take on interim responsibility when you establish a product area, enter a market or expand your business. Depending on the agreed mandate, this may also include technical assessments of acquisition targets and the integration of development and production activities. The scope and decision-making authority are defined at the outset.
What You Can Expect
You have a dedicated point of contact, an agreed project plan and a clear account of tasks, decisions and progress. The agreed work packages are coordinated with your team and the partners involved through to handover.
